It has been in Government since2000, wining the state Assembly elections for a historic 4thconsecutive term this past May. In the recent Kandhamal Lok Sabhabye-elections, the BJD candidate Smt. Pratyusha Rajeshwari Singhtrounced her nearest opponent by nearly three lakhs votes. It set anew precedence in the era of electoral politics in Odisha wheresuch a huge margin of victory was never seen before in abye-election in recent times. The people of Odisha know that it istheir beloved CM Sri Naveen Patnaik who has their best in his mind,heart and soul and it is Naveen Babu in whom they trust andbelieve.
